Manage Product Variants

Edit variant details like size, color, SKU, and assign images to each color variant.

Manage your product variants

After the AI extracts products from your invoice, each product card may contain multiple variants — combinations of size, color, or other options. The variants table at the bottom of the product detail panel lets you review and fine-tune every variant before transferring to Shopify.

1

Open a product card

Click any product card on the Products page to open the detail panel on the right. Scroll down past the images and product info to find the Variants table.

2

Review the variant summary

At the top of the detail panel, the product info section shows a quick overview: total variant count, available colors, and sizes. This gives you a snapshot before diving into the details.

3

Edit variant details

Each row in the variants table is fully editable. Click on any cell to modify:

  • SKU — the seller's internal reference for this specific variant.
  • Color — the color name (renaming a color automatically updates the image assignment).
  • Size — the size label (S, M, L, 42, etc.).
  • Barcode — EAN or GTIN code for this variant.
  • Cost — the wholesale purchase price.
  • Price — the retail selling price.
  • Stock — available inventory quantity.

Changes save automatically when you click away from the cell.

4

Assign images to colors

Each color variant can have one product image assigned to it. Click the small image thumbnail at the left of a variant row to open a picker showing all available product images. Select the image that best represents that color.

A confidence badge appears next to AI-assigned images. Manual assignments always show 100% confidence and are never overwritten by the AI.

5

Use Auto-Match

If your product has multiple images and color variants, click the Auto-Match button above the variants table. The AI analyzes each image and assigns it to the most likely color variant automatically.

Auto-Match only overwrites previous AI assignments when the new confidence score is higher. It never overwrites manual assignments.

What transfers to Shopify

Each variant becomes a separate Shopify variant. Size maps to Option 1, Color maps to Option 2. Stock quantities are synced as inventory, and images assigned to a color are linked to the corresponding Shopify variant.

Variant costs

Auto-Match uses AI vision and costs approximately €0.02 per product card. Editing variants manually is always free.
